Hello neighbors, it’s time for your weekly progress update!
- Kuja was hard at work on his second KRAM submission and it is now finally finished with some variations coming up soon.
- Continuing on our efforts to simplify our animation processes, Kuja has completed various swappable .png expressions for in-game animations, featuring both the Lizardman and Kay from multiple angles. Some of these (3-4f, for example) were developed some time ago but had not been implemented. With our new, streamlined approach, we are excited to integrate them soon during sex scenes.
- As part of our ongoing efforts to simplify things, we have explored various styles for still scenes within the game. Options under consideration include journal sketches or hologram-styled images, which we believe will complement the new dialogue art set to be implemented soon (refer to previous posts for details). Moreover, we are developing a concept where scenes unfold as if Kay is writing in her journal, allowing players to make decisions to advance the scenes. This sketch-themed approach is still in the early stages, and we plan to further enrich the ‘book’ aspect of these scenes.
- Additionally, we have made significant efforts to fix and rework a substantial portion of Vanlen’s dialogue and quest lines, aiming to enhance character interaction and minimize visual bugs and glitches.
- With numerous features now being implemented and prepared for rollout, we are gearing up for extensive testing to ensure the gameplay is seamless. We are optimistic about the next major update and have clearly defined goals for future builds.
