Welcome back!
After a short holiday break, we are back to work and making progress. We hope you had a wonderful holiday season that sets the stage for an exceptional 2026. Now, let us set some goals and expectations for Lok:Rebirth throughout this year.
Our goal for 2026 is introducing Combat. Combat will be the cornerstone that dictates the gameplay loop for Lok:Rebirth. Currently, Kay’s base animations are being made and the code skeleton is well into development by Ron.
Outside the village, the first enemies you will encounter are the wild Krantors. Don’t underestimate the boars. I hear they make the Jotnar work for their hides.
Truth be told, we don’t have a timeline for the Combat release. However there is plenty of content in development to help tide you over. So let’s talk a little about the Village, the Razorclaws and the Project.
For the new year, Inani will be the first character to have NSFW scenes. This continues a trend of smaller updates to ease you into the Combat Update. Keakrix, Jakuul, Nesi and Kantir are all Characters that will be receiving attention during this transition. However choosing who is next is always an important decision.
To help accomplish this, we added a suggestion box to the Discord under the Updates and Interactions Tab. If you are a Bloodbound+, take a moment and leave a suggestion on who or what you’d like to see added to Lok:Rebirth. Of course you can always comment below on who you are longing for…
As 2025 came to a close, we released a new Launcher and a new Build featuring the Shaman. Currently this Build has been released for the Aldrukai+ Supporters. We are still looking for feedback for the Launcher and the Build. Meaning that as you download and play Build 2.1.0. Please let us know how it’s going. Our Discord is the easiest place to have direct access to us.
This feedback is extremely important, both positive and negative alike. Lok: Rebirth is a community funded and driven project. We hope you choose to let us know your thoughts and feelings. From the halls of the extravagant Praetorians, the enfranchised Discord Navkatarr, to the casual X user who saw a Kuja seasonal art piece. Everyone has their role to play.
Don’t know how to Download Lok:Rebirth? Go to https://thetribedevs.com, scroll down and select your platform to download the Launcher. Then link your Patreon or Subscribestar account login within the Launcher. This allows you to download the current Supporter Build. Although, if you are not an active supporter. There still is an option to download a free build of Lok:Rebirth or the Depreciated .8 Build for your nostalgia pleasure.
