Welcome back! Good News! Inani’s build will be released to the Praetorian supporters before the end of April. Ron has been diligently working and soon the fruits of his labor will be on display.

However, we would like to display progress of a different sort.

Kay’s Dialogue Splash Art has been rigged and is ready to be implemented into Lok:Rebirth! First, a brief caveat, Kay’s splash art will not be added to the imminent Inani Build. The Splash animations will debut when we have finished the majority of NPCs in Lok:Rebirth. Seeing these splash art characters come together in the dialogue screen has been an important morale boost to the team.

Ultimately, these Splash Characters open up the creative potential for our writers. They have many many components and the possibilities of creating fun dialogue interactions are almost limitless. However the Splash Characters were not the only long planned feature that took major steps forward.

We have begun working with weapon animations for our combat rigs. We are focused on creating a minimum viable product for combat. Beginning with Daggers and Spears to address the boars stalking the outskirts of the village. Kay will have to put her flight training aside as she integrates into the primitive warfare of the Razorclaws.

Additionally, Compound has begun work on another round of Journal entries. If you recall, the Journal was used to help flesh out Mjol’s Dialogue within the Tavern’s Kitchen. This entry will focus on Eri and her twisted sense of… vanity.

That’s all folks. Thank you again for the support and we look forward to speaking to you soon. Until next time. Peace and Stay Strong.
